E-Waste Policy

NEOGE operates in line with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Our first preference is always renewal and resale; devices beyond economic repair are channelled to authorised recyclers, never to informal scrap.

• Devices bought through our trade-in programme are renewed at our Bangalore facility wherever feasible.
• Working parts from unrepairable units are harvested for refurbishment spares.
• Only what cannot be reused — dead boards, spent batteries, shattered glass — enters the recycling stream.

Non-renewable e-waste is handed over to CPCB/KSPCB-authorised recyclers (partner details to be published here once agreements are finalised) against proper manifests. Batteries are segregated and handled per the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022.

Even if a device has no trade-in value, you can hand it to us during any doorstep pickup or at our Bangalore office and we will route it to an authorised recycler at no charge — because the right disposal should be the easy option.

Storage media in devices marked for recycling are wiped or physically destroyed before leaving our custody, with the same rigour as our renewed-device data wipes.
